It's that time of year when I am in constant dread about the possibility of being unhoused.

My yearly apartment rent was about $`2,000 at last year's exchange rate. Idk about this year. I haven't checked. I'm too scared to check.

In the meantime, in the spirit of procrastination and delaying the inevitable: 📣UPDATE!!📣

Thanks to many people who were willing to be inconvenienced by yours truly, I met my October goal almost twice over. Last month's goal was $280, and I ended up with $463, Alhamdulillah. My sleep-deprived brain was too slow to register what was going on. May you and your loved ones always be protected from any harm, including becoming liberals, nationalists, colonial/imperial apologists, and trusting men more than women in our lifetimes 💜
After the VPS goal was met, I decided to allocate some of the extra funds towards my November monthly bills and grocery needs for the next two weeks, and the rest towards several mutual aid appeals that were stuck throughout October. It really wasn't much after I paid my bills, and I won't bother pretending I'm mentally stable enough to cosplay as a charity foundation posting financial reports showing how much goes where (to whom), as if the money has strings attached. Y'all support me and I support others. That is all.

I found out that my father, the bullies from my previous workplace, my ex-fiancé, and the president of the Republic of Indonesia were all still alive and breathing normally, which is truly unfortunate.

Nobody has asked Hostinger for more discounts than I have, I think lol. I've mostly started chats with their AI bot on hPanel to ask for discount codes… only to leave 'em in the cart 😩😭 sorry not sorry. They're the cheapest actually, but Je suis Mademoiselle Brõkést 😞🤏🏻🤌🏻 But this time I will officially rent their VPS because the community has funded it. I'll do it tomorrow after I get enough sleep. In the meantime, I've disabled the auto-renewal. Thank God they didn't charge me yet. I still have until the 13th of November to fully migrate to the VPS, apparently, which was entirely new information to me because the whole time my dumbass thought it would shut down immediately on the 30th/31st. This was a lesson for me to never listen to my anxiety-addled brain. October was an exhausting month. I've just had the horrible realisation that my bank is overdrawn because they didn't take money for bills out until later than normal😢As a disabled person under the poverty line, this not only now leaves me stuck to pay my utility bill, but also means the bank will charge me a fee for being overdrawn. As you can imagine, this is an extremely precarious and stressful position for me. Didn't meet last month's minimum essential needs goal, as usual. The unmet $218 really needs to be added to July because it was for meds.

July essential needs: $818 (deadline: 16/07): • $218 meds • $250 groceries ✅$350 maintenance fee + utilities + internet bills (can't be paid separately), breakdown:

$225 building maintenance fee, charged every 6 months.
$90 electricity and water
$35 Wi-Fi + mobile data

I'm too disabled for corporate jobs, and I don't have a fixed income. Monthly pledges are what allow me to barely function and continue building the mutual aid infra I've been working on. One-off support also helps.
