@MAKS23@mastodon.social "Partners": #MAGAmerica is the ally of russia, it is the enemy of the free and democratic world and in this war explicitly the enemy of Ukraine. Actual they are limiting the speed of drone connected to them to 60mph, which disables any useful way to use drones. Also they have stopped to report ballistic missile to Ukraine, so MAGAmerica is actively fighting together with russia(orclandia) against Ukraine. #USA / #MAGAMerica: Shame! Shame! Shame! #EU put starlink on the sanctions-list with stopping them from operating i n EU at all, if they not go back to allow Ukraine to defend against orcland.

👇 https://www.kuketz-blog.de/eu-und-usa-grenzsicherheit-als-tueroeffner-fuer-mehr-datenaustausch/ #Datenschutz #EU #USA

"Usually, the GDPR permits processing for specific purposes (e.g. retention for tax records or fraud prevention). However, the agreed Article 88c (or Article 88bis) legitimises an entire technology. Regardless of the purpose for which it is used, any AI system could lawfully take any personal data by default. For example, the proposed Article would also permit the training and use of AI for manipulation, disinformation, the generation of nude images or killer drones, and indeed any other questionable purpose. Many processing operations that were so far illegal could suddenly become legal – just because they are done “in the context” of an AI system. For example, data processing for personal advertising purposes (without consent) is currently illegal in the EU. Now, however, advertising could suddenly become legal if it is personalised using AI technology. Max Schrems: “It’s like saying anything goes – no matter what you do – as long as it’s done with AI. If something is illegal in an Excel spreadsheet, it's legal if done with an AI agent. It’s utterly absurd to give preferential treatment to a high-risk technology over every other computer system.”" https://noyb.eu/en/ai-eu-member-states-approve-digital-expropriation-europeans-ai-companies #EU #GDPR #AI #BigTech #DataProtection #DigitalExpropriation #DigitalOmnibus

If X silences Saudi dissidents, what will it do to 'European traitors'? https://www.brusselstimes.com/eu-affairs/2261072/if-x-silences-saudi-dissidents-what-will-it-do-to-european-traitors "If tomorrow Elon Musk would start a platform for information sharing and political debate, no one in their right mind would join. And yet, that is what our politicians, parties, governments and media do every day, simply because first Twitter, then X has become a fact of life." #LeaveX #EU

RE: https://mastodon.ar.al/@aral/117495606576800262 We can’t fight these fires one by one (of course we must right now). The long term solution: Strip the @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu of its legislative power and give it to the EU Parliament where it belongs. No idea how you’d even start that process, though. If this overlaps your area of expertise, please feel free to pipe up or to take the initiative (with no illusions that this will happen overnight). (The EU Parliament is currently a toy parliament. The only parliament in the world that cannot legislate.) CC @noybeu@mastodon.social#democracy #humanRights #EU

Hey, @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu, fuck you too. *** On Wednesday, EU Member States approved a change to the GDPR that would put the profit-making interests of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and SpaceX over European's fundamental right to data protection. According to the approved text, processing personal data “in the context of AI” should automatically be lawful. In particular, Big Tech would be able to use all personal data collected over the past decades with virtually no restrictions, as long as this happens “in the context” of AI. Schrems: “Under the agreed text, the profits of AI companies would typically trump European’s fundamental right to privacy. This is nothing but a digital expropriation of Europeans.” https://noyb.eu/en/ai-eu-member-states-approve-digital-expropriation-europeans-ai-companies #privacy #humanRights #EU #BigTech #corporatocracy #fascism
