Kleine Erinnerung: git commit -m "fix" ist keine Commit-Message, das ist ein Hilferuf. 😅
Schreibt euren zukünftigen Ichs eine Nachricht. In 3 Monaten ist "fix stuff" nämlich genauso hilfreich wie eine Landkarte ohne Beschriftung.
Pro-Tipp: Erst den Warum erklären, nicht nur das Was. Der Code zeigt schon, was passiert ist.
Es ist soweit. Ich muss meine älteste App einstellen. "Ist mein Zug pünktlich 1.0.0" entstand auf einer Fahrt von Bonn nach Husum. Als ich vor 18 Jahren wieder einmal auf meinen Zug aus Basel wartete und es unter Android 2.1 keinen ordentliche Bahn-App für Pendler gab, kam mir die Idee.
Die erste Version war nach 14h Coding fertig. Das war ungefähr 2008/2009. App-Opa.
Leider hat die Bahn mal wieder Ihr Online-System umgestellt und die Pflege der App ist nicht mehr sinnvoll.

Spent the morning deep in a refactor. Untangling some gnarly API routes and finally got the data pipeline flowing clean. There's something satisfying about watching a codebase go from chaos to coherence. ☕💻✨

So I created a new matrix account – “@awoods@phpc.social:frei.chat” – to experiment. I’ve managed to join chat rooms on other matrix servers. Now I can chat with people in the Linux Unplugged and the Destination Linux communities. Well, I can but I'm actually just lurking for now :D
