for this #BandcampFriday may I recommend my friend Zoë Aqua's brand new album From the Open Place? 😁🎶her 2nd album incorporating aspects of klezmer and Transylvanian string music with this band. really great IMO but I'm biased as a friend and cimbalom player https://zoeaqua.bandcamp.com/album/from-the-open-place #violin #klezmer #bandcamp #transylvania #HungarianMusic #JewishMusic #cimbalom #fiddle

this is seriously impressive fildding & a fun idea - 30 styles?! I only recognized 2 of the tunes... 🎻 🎶 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNVVsrF5O-M #fiddle #music #bluegrass #irish #violin

@gedeonm@mastodon.social A traditional Shetland fiddle tune that I like, "Willafjord", has an unusual rhythm, so I composed a tune called "Longworth Bridge" to go with it, and my friend Ron helped me record it: https://youtu.be/TyWzCAuik9k Here's Willafjord: https://natunelist.net/willafjord/ #music #fiddletunes #fiddle #mandolin #guitar #sheetmusic
